Woodwork with Roger Griffiths

In September 2015, a small group of children joined the 'Woodwork Apprenticeship Scheme'. Working with Roger Griffiths, who attends our Learning Exchange, the children will be making Christmas logs which will be sold at the School's Christmas Fayre. The first stage of the operation was to prepare some logs and feet, the children sawed and sanded down the ends of the logs ready for the legs to be attached. Making 30 candle holders was going to take some doing so the children had to learn a variety of skills to complete the task. The children will decorate the logs once holes have been drilled for the candles.
