St Paul’s Church

The church of St Paul, built in 1841-42, is a cruciform structure of Haldon flint – only one of two of this type in Devon.

St Paul’s is part of the Chudleigh Parish led by Reverend Alex Sharp.

The children and staff from Chudleigh Knighton C of E Primary School go to church during term time when special services are held, generally for Ash Wednesday, Easter, Harvest, Remembrance, Christingle and our New Starter's Bible Presentation. At the end of the year the Church is the venue for the Year 6 Leaver’s Service. Collective Worship is also occasionally held in the church on a Thursday afternoon.
