Our Ethos Awards
Each week in our Celebration Worship, a child from each class is awarded an Ethos Certificate for demonstrating commitment to an element of our school vision or values.
At Chudleigh Knighton, the Ethos Committee take great pride in presenting these awards as they are a reflection of what makes our school so special.
Any child within each of the classes could be awarded our Ethos Award for a myriad of reasons. The nominations for the award may come from an adult working within the school, however, our pupils also have the opportunity to put forward a nomination to their Ethos representative.
There are other occasions throughout the year where pupil excellence in demonstrating commitment to our Christian Ethos is recognised and celebrated through a number of awards which have been at the heart of Chudleigh Knighton CofE Primary School throughout the years.
Our Ethos Awards
At CK, being a fantastic citizen, a good friend, kind and respectful are the attributes that contribute towards an essential part of our school Ethos. We are proud of the way in which our children are brilliant ambassadors for our school and the wider village community to which we belong. Awards that celebrate the importance of our Vision and Values include:
The Butler Good Citizenship Cup
The Graham and Eileen Wannacott Memorial Shield for Kindness and Consideration
And The Chudleigh Knighton Primary School Friendship Award
These awards have been a part of the CK family for a very long time because the attributes these awards represent and celebrate have been integral to our school in the past and continue to be in our present and future.
