Morning tasks:

Reading:

There is a pdf for each year group on the website with the text and questions – there are several pages so would be better to just view rather than print if possible.

English:

There is a pdf for English about firework safety.  We have been looking at imperative verbs and adverbs this week. Please could the children look at the resource and write a set of instructions on ‘How to use a sparkler’.

Maths:

Y3: TTRS practise followed by maths sheet related to this week’s learning.

Y2: Numbots practise followed by the maths sheet related to this week’s learning

Spelling and phonics:  Please spend 10 minutes on spelling shed and 10 minutes of reading of their class book / bug club.

Afternoon:

Project Preparations time: We would like to provide opportunity for the children to work on / research their home learning projects which are due in school on Thursday 23^rd November. 

 The home learning letter with full details of the project has been uploaded to our class page for your reference. 

 We would like your child to be able to talk about or write about why their project was a ‘WOW’ for them. 

 Do not forget, there are no 'rules' about how you capture your 'wow' in nature. What is special for everyone will look different and we look forward to celebrating the wide and varied outcomes with you. 

There are endless possibilities for how this could be presented.

This time could be planning, creating or evaluating your project.
