Service of Remembrance

This year's Remembrance Service took place in the school playground with pupils remaining within their 'class bubbles'.  Pupils in 'Beavers, Brownies, Guides, Rainbows, Cubs and Scouts wore their uniforms into school.

The Last Post was played followed by two minutes silence, the Service then continued in a thoughtful and reflective manner with Year 6 children's powerful and moving recital of two well known World War 1 poems 'In Flanders Fields' and 'Please Wear a Poppy'.

After the Service children dressed in their respective uniforms, House Captains and Prefects walked across to St Paul's Churchyard to lay crosses on the three war graves in the cemetery.
