• Farmwise October 2024

  Our Year 4 pupils had a fantastic time at Farmwise at Westpoint on the 8^th October. During their visit pupils visited various ‘stations’ dotted around the event.  The children learned so much about food and farming and loved how hands-on and fun the activities were

  

• Harvest Festival Assembly

  Today the House Captains and our Ethos Team led our Harvest Festival Celebration. They were supported by all children across the school who shared a little something about what Harvest means as an important Christian festival. We would also like to say a huge thank you to those of you, who kindly donated supplies to the St Petrocks charity

  

• Exeter RAMM Museum Trip

  On Wednesday 2^nd October, the children from Belstone and Burrator Class were very lucky to travel to Exeter to visit the Royal Albert Memorial Museum and participate in their Roman day.  The children had a fantastic day out, learning about the life of the Romans in Devon. The children took part in a wide range of activities which included writing their name in roman Latin script and exploring mosaic patterns which the Romans used for flooring. The children were also given the opportunity to look at artefacts including pottery, jewellery, clothing.  A fun day was had by all!
