Service of Remembrance

This year's 'Service of Remembrance' began with pupils dressed in their respective Beavers, Rainbows, Cubs and Brownies uniforms parading into the School Hall.  The Last Post was then played followed by the two minutes silence.

The service continued in a thoughtful and reflective manner, children from Year's 5 and 6 gave a moving and powerful recital of two well-known World War 1 poems 'In Flanders Fields' and 'Please Wear a Poppy'.

After the service pupils who were dressed in their respective uniforms walked across to St Paul's churchyard and lay crosses on the three war graves in the cemetery.
