This week we played host to our 'Hub's' first Reading Day! Children from Lady Seawards, Rockbeare, Westcliff and Willowbank joined us for the day to study the novel 'Smith' by Leon Garfield. The story follows the adventures of a street urchin in the 19th century who witnesses an incident and follows his adventures from this! During the day children discussed various aspects of the book then before leaving each school was presented with a copy of the book to take back for their school libraries.
Meanwhile, pupils in Kestor have been exhibiting their home learning projects and watching their 'class caterpillars' grow, while Belstone children have created 'Blitz Art' and 'SPaG Graffiti' as part of their revision.
